"But with the expansion of our CNC range, we have seen the need for more advanced software to provide our customers with complex programming and nesting solutions. This is done through Alphacam. We consider ourselves to be a CNC machining center An industry leader, since Alphacam is part of Vero Software, the world’s largest CAM supplier, we know that it is a proven CAD-CAM solution widely used in the UK woodworking market, so the partnership is effective.”

Felder also works with tool suppliers Leitz UK and Cruing. "Because Leitz tools are of the highest quality, they are very suitable for our machines. Cruing's Aerotech tools are very suitable for nesting and provide a good solution for panel production. Overall, this machine tool, cutting tool and software Xiang Combination provides our customers with the best overall solution from one supplier."

Felder UK operates in a recently refurbished 20,000 square foot site in Milton Keynes and provides a wide range of machinery in addition to CNC, including band saws, panel saws, spindle forming machines, edge banding machines, planing machines and material handling solutions plan. Felder's customer base is mainly related to furniture and panel production-prefabricated furniture and kitchen suppliers, to cabinet manufacturers of complex and exquisite furniture, and general joinery companies that manufacture stairs, doors and windows.

The CNC series starts from the small H08 1325 8x4 flatbed milling machine used for three-axis machining, to the H10 heavy industrial machine (as shown in the figure below), with automatic loading, unloading and through-feed production, as well as three-axis, four-axis and five-axis -Shaft pods and guide rail machining centers.

It provides Alphacam as the preferred CAD-CAM solution for all levels. Matthew Applegarth stated that they have achieved "great success" in providing each of the three Alphacam modules (Essential, Advanced and Ultimate), which also includes tools to provide customers with a one-stop solution. "This means that furniture companies can actually start operations when they invest in our CNC machine tools without having to go to CAD-CAM and tool suppliers separately."

CNC product manager Richard Hird said that Alphacam's new customers received software and machine training, and quickly learned simple techniques for importing different file types and preparing them for processing.

"Then, in their daily work, many of our customers will get a concept or idea from their own customers as something they need to design, create and manufacture for them. After importing the file into Alphacam, they just need to import the tool path Put it together with all the information needed for processing, and then pass it directly as a TCN file. All these files are ready to run on Format 4."
